Faith and Action
Faith and Action was organized in 2009 to provide a venue for people to serve, share their faith, and bless those in need. Our ministries vision is not only to meet people’s physical needs but also to meet their spiritual needs by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our volunteers are ordinary people that come together with a shared purpose of demonstrating God’s love in practical ways. In an effort to provide at-risk kids with an alternative to gang activities, Faith and Action provides opportunities for kids to interact with people who care about them. Just as important is that our outreach provides an opportunity for our volunteers to serve, bless, and show love to some of the most under-served children in Chicago. Many of our events are non-threatening and consist of simply spending some time with often neglected children. Often our time is our witness. Proverbs 21:13 specifically tells us, “Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be heard.” At Faith and Action, we take these words seriously.

Chicagoland Prison Outreach
Chicagoland Prison Outreach is a faith-based organization that ministers to men and women in the Cook County Jail, Cook County Sheriff’s Boot Camp, various state prisons and at our Career Center in Roseland. We offer Christian worship services, discipleship classes, individual counseling, vocational training, job preparation, Bible studies and more—all in order to show inmates and their families the love of Christ in a clear, tangible way. We work with incarcerated men and women, formerly incarcerated men and women and the families of people in prison. In all of our programs and ministries, we’re seeking to point others to the unique, personal relationship with Jesus that completely changes lives.
